Rigidity and Softness
The concept was to create a soft and gentle way of living within a solid, protective concrete volume—
a quiet refuge that shields its inhabitants from the surrounding noise and atmosphere.
The house is composed of three layered spaces, connected by a spiral staircase,
and wrapped in softly diffused light reflected across white walls.
Reinforced concrete forms the structural core, providing resilience against earthquakes and fire.
Sprayed internal insulation ensures thermal comfort,
while the plan is organized around intuitive circulation and furnished with simple, functional pieces.
A house is not something to be bought, but something to be created.
A singular place—one of a kind, found nowhere else.
