A Modern Perspective
This gallery showcases photographs taken during my recent visit to Kyoto, nearly 50 years after my first photographic journey as a 15-year-old. The images here reflect a matured sensibility, blending nostalgia with a contemporary perspective.
While some were captured with my faithful Pentax KX—still fully operational after restoration—others were taken with a Google Pixel 8 Pro, symbolizing the intersection of tradition and modernity. From timeless landmarks to fleeting moments, these photographs explore how our perception of beauty evolves with time, yet remains rooted in the landscapes and stories that shaped us.
Through this gallery, I invite you to journey through Kyoto once again, rediscovering its enduring charm while reflecting on the paths we’ve walked and the tracks we continue to follow.
